New deal between Le Pacte and Latido, this time for “Champions”, the new feature film directed by Academy Award-nominated Javier Fesser.

“Champions” is a comedy lead by Marco, the assistant coach in Spain’s top basketball league.  After being involved in an accident, he’s sentenced to coach a team of special players with a lust for life and an understanding of the things that truly matter.

“‘Champions is a funny, charming, beautiful story, and Le Pacte’s involvement in it in at such an early stage of production gives us at Latido and the producers, Alvaro Longoria (Morena Films) and Luis Manso (Películas Pendleton), a boost of confidence that we are on the right track with this fantastic project.” said Antonio Saura, director of Latido Films.

Previous Le Pacte adquisition, “May God Save Us”, did an outstanding opening in theaters with 151.408 admissions (some $1.2 million in gross box office) making it the biggest title in 2017 for Le Pacte.

Latido Films will be presenting the film in the upcoming version of Toronto International Film Festival.
