Sul/South has received the Sophia Award from the Academia Portuguesa de Cinema.
The portuguese series directed by Ivo M. Ferreira and created by Edgar Medina and Guilherme Mendonça, wins the Sophia Award for the Best Series of the year.
Released in 2019 and with 10 episodes, the cast puts together faces like Adriano Luz, Jani Zhao, Afonso Pimentel, Margarida Vila-Nova and Ivo Canelas. The Original Soundtrack is in charge of Dead Combo, a renowned portuguese band mixing fados with jazz, alternative and world music.
