We are very proud to announce that at the 32nd edition of the Warsaw Film Festival closing gala, PLAYGROUND won the Special Jury Mention.
This major “A” category festival recognizes with this award Bartosz M. Kowalski’s amazing work in his first feature film, which marks a promising career. In PLAYGROUND Kowalski gradually paints a subtle, tense portrait of today’s youth of the youngsters we are bringing up, a study in child violence that exposes bleakly the darkness of the juvenile soul that it might be described as a modern-day Lord of the Flies.
