Erotic. Directed by Carles Torras
Carles Torras is a filmmaker from Barcelona who alternates between the roles of producer (‘Upon Entry’) and those of screenwriter and director, as is the case with ‘Trash,’ a coral and existential drama with a notable erotic component that reflects the rise of the social culture of “disposable” or “use and throw away” romantic and sexual relationships. It is a pretty accurate and unsparing portrayal of the world of couples in all their variations in which the players perform to the best of their ability, with the internationally recognized actors Óscar Jaenada and Assumpta Serna in the lead.
“TRASH” tells us a very current history: the culture of trash relationships. Young Clara, after being cheated by his boyfriend, will have to learn to overcome it, whereas David, her ex-boyfriend, will have to learn from his mistakes going through a hell. Nacho will face an obsession that will take him up to the limit, Cristian will have to overcome many temptations to realize of what is really important and Carmen will discover a new world full of surprises. With them, we will get on a train of emotions that will not make us indifferent.
