At 17, an adolescent is a sponge that is predisposed to absorb everything. The protagonist of this Mexican production is no exception and little by little we see him become immersed in an underworld of sexual liberation (often undefined and ambiguous), drugs and counterculture as the epitomes of a search for freedom and a sense of rebellion against the norms of the adult world. The film is set in the year 1986, with the Mexican World Cup as background.

1986. Mexico City. Seventeen-year-old Carlos doesn’t fit in anywhere: not in his family nor with the friends he has chosen in school. But everything changes when he is invited to a mythical nightclub where he discovers the underground nightlife scene: post punk, sexual liberty, and drugs that challenges the relationship with his best friend Gera and lets him find his passion for art.
