An adaptation of the acclaimed novel of the same name by Chilean painter and writer Adolfo Couve. It tells the story that could have been but never was of one of the greatest geniuses in Latin American painting: A child from humble origins, the son of a single teenage mother, with an inborn talent for art who disappeared at the age of 13, along with all his work, as a victim of the Pinochet coup. Produced by multi-award-winning Andrés Wood and winner of the Audience Award at the Kerala Film Festival (India), this movie features an international cast led by Mexican actor Daniel Giménez Cacho and Spanish actress Verónica Sánchez.
