Selected at the Zurich Film Festival, this third film by Belgian director Delphine Lehericey is a coming-of-age story starring Diane, an enigmatic 14-year-old who has a complicated relationship with her father and also takes care of her younger brother. Diane is obsessed with becoming an adult, and the opportunity arises when a stranger arrives in her neighborhood: an uninhibited and charismatic English girl, with whom she establishes a very special link.
At 14, Diane is an enigmatic teenager and a loner. She is busy bringing up her little brother, Marc, and has an intense relationship wth her father, Christian. The appearance of Julia, a young charismatic and emancipated English girl, in her neighbourhood turns Diane´s everyday life upside down. Diane, who breaks the bounds of childhood at any price, goes through the most dramatic experiences of her life in the span of six months. The closer she is to Julia, the more she turns her back on morality, paying no attention to the consequences or the limits of her desires.
