WHY WE LOVE IT
Acclaimed for his work in the series PATRIA and FOUR SEASONS IN HAVANA, Félix Viscarret won in 2008 the Goya for best adapted screenplay in his first appearance, UNDER THE STARS. In this movie, his fourth fiction feature film, he deals with a universal topic: the inevitable crisis people face when they are in their forties, taking it to the limit in terms of amusement. The film is set in a small city of Northern Spain where the climate and architecture are yet another protagonist in the story.
SYNOPSIS
Isaías had been a promising architect as a young man, but when he turned 40 all his dreams and expectations at the personal, professional and family levels have gradually faded away. And to top it all, each decision he makes to try to solve his problems only makes things worse…
