A family comedy signed by one of the great directors of the genre in Spain in the last half-century, Fernando Colomo. Based on a script by the successful David Marqués (‘Champions’) and produced by Morena Films, the director of the legendary ‘Paper Tigers’ creates a Christmas fable about two brothers who, with the help of their grandfather’s magic ball, bring snowmen to life and get into all sorts of trouble. Two great stars lead the cast, Dani Rovira (“Ocho apellidos vascos”’) and the veteran José Sacristán, a key name in the history of Spanish cinema.
Miguel and his two children, Luna and Oliver, are going to spend Christmas with their mother Tamara in a countryside home. What the parents don’t know is that the kids have a magic ball they stole from their grandfather Benigno. While playing with it, Oliver and Luna wish their parents disappeared and instead their snowmen came alive and, lo and behold, the next morning their wish comes true! This will be a very peculiar Christmas morning.
