Marta González de la Vega, scriptwriter of the two most commercially successful sagas of Spanish cinema in recent times, is the author of this film’s libretto. A romantic comedy that satirizes romantic comedies in general and whose protagonist is a woman from Madrid facing a midlife crisis; some sort of Woody Allen millennial obsessed with love and sex. Veteran filmmaker Chus Gutiérrez, a key figure in the so-called Movida madrileña, as well as a pioneering female director in Spain with over 30 years’ experience and almost 20 films to her credit, is the director of this movie.
About to turn 40, Marta cannot find the stability she seeks at the emotional and personal level. She therefore decides to review her past relationships with various men to learn from her mistakes, laugh at them and confront the future, building her self-security as best she can to transform herself from a little red riding hood into a she-wolf.
