Honest and a beautiful portrait of the family.
Ozores interprets with solidity a mother who will resonate strongly with the audience.
Extremely flawless performances. Dazzling.
LITTLE LOVES is the winner of the Special Jury Award for Best Film and Best Acting Award at the Málaga Film Festival. It has been selected for several film festivals such as San Sebastian, Buenos Aires (BAFICI), and Odesa. Celia Rico, following her debut with the multi-award-winning JOURNEY TO A MOTHER’S ROOM ‒which has been considered one of the great talents of Spanish cinema‒, delves even deeper into motherdaughter relationships in this new film, exploring the small gestures, frictions, and glances that occur as we live with our mothers. From the producers of THE BEASTS (Goya Winner for Best Film, César Award Winner for Best Foreign Film and nominated for Best Foreign Film at David Di Donatello Awards) and ROBOT DREAMS (Nominated for the Oscars 2024), this intense and emotional duel will star Goya winner Adriana Ozores and María Vázquez, winner of the Best Actress Award at the Málaga Film Festival 2023 for her performance in MATRIA.
Teresa (María Vázquez) changes her holiday plans to help her mother (Adriana Ozores), who has had a minor accident. Mother and daughter will spend a stifling summer together, unable to agree on even the most trivial things. However, their forced coexistence will bring to the surface more profound matters than initially expected, and during summer nights Teresa will experience some revealing moments with her mother.
