The second feature film by the critic-turned-director Santiago Tabernero. A psychological thriller, rich in metaphors, about the relationship between a young middle-class married couple, which begins when they head to the beach in an attempt to salvage their relationship. There, a series of events bordering on unreality leads them to rediscover each other. It is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Clara Sánchez, with the screenplay co-authored by the director himself and the lead actor, Eduardo Noriega (‘Thesis’), accompanied by the always captivating Marta Etura. The movie was part of the official selection at the Seminci Film Festival.
Julia and Felix are a young, middle class couple who are going through a relationship crisis, so they decide to go on holiday to the beach for a few days. After they reach the resort they get into a fight and Julia ends up leaving with the car. In the darkness of the night, she hears a violent crash and stops to investigate. Strangely, she doesn’t find anything unusual, but when she returns to the car she discovers that her handbag has been stolen, along with her ID, money and mobile phone. To make it even worse, she can’t find her way back; she is lost.
