Who wouldn’t do anything for the love of a daughter and getting back your beloved family…even if it means trying to get out of a little lie that somehow you have managed to keep on growing till the snowball is not anymore in your control. With Spanish football striker Joaquin debuting on screen, this amusing and heartfelt comedy will prove that every neighborhood has its own characteristics, but trying to become the local hero fighting not only adversities but also gossip is as universal as it gets.

Young footballer Paula, asks her father, Luis, to bring Joaquin, the charismatic Betis player with whom he has pretended to be friends, to the final match of the season. For his part, Luis seeks help from his father, a former boxer, and his friend Lito to get back together with the love of his life, who now lives with a new partner. All of these peculiar characters from a working-class neighborhood in Seville will go through some amusing situations to make the girl’s dream come true.
