A Spanish-Argentinian co-production that takes place mainly in a bar of Buenos Aires called Garllington (as a tribute to Gardel and Duke Ellington). Three friends in their thirties regularly gather there, and their favorite topic of conversation is sex, particularly their relationships with a tango singer who has been involved with all three of them. Debut director Hernán Gaffet was recognized as the Best New Director at the Valladolid Seminci for this movie.
At the “Garllington”, a Bar in Buenos Aires named after Tango & Jazz legends Carlos Gardel and Duke Ellington, a group of friends in their 30’s meet there everyday: this is the place where they used to hang as students, laughing at the world, and now at nights they still dream of changing the world from the cafe table…
Duque, the Bar’s owner, doesn’t allow Sergio (screen writer) and Marcos (salesman) to discuss politics or football, to avoid arguments and unnecessary passions, so that the main topic remains Women.
When onhe of the guys does not appear for reunion, because he has committed suicide, a former fellow girl returns to the “Garllington” to find comfort and confront old feelings, wounds and hopes…
