A sequel to the successful ‘Un franco, 14 pesetas,’ in which comedian Carlos Iglesias made his directorial debut and was nominated for the Goya Prize for Best New Director. The story is set in the 1970s when the emigrants to Switzerland have already returned to Spain. At the time of one of their grandchildren’s baptism, they decide to revisit the Alpine country, this time as tourists, and go over. However, they cannot help feeling nostalgic for the years they spent there and the experiences they went through. Leading the cast once again are Iglesias himself and two-time Goya Award winner Javier Gutiérrez.
The christening in Switzerland of Marcos’s second son will lead to a new invasion of Spaniards. Mothers who arrive unexpectedly from Spain, sons who turn up with their Swiss girlfriends, priests who sing flamenco, a Spanish banker who is trying to hide money in Zurich, the peaceful of the little Swiss town will be endangered.
