An Argentinian thriller co-written by the successful duo Gastón Duprat and Mariano Cohn («El ciudadano ilustre,» «Competencia oficial»), although in this case the direction is exclusively handled by the latter. A tense, intense, risky, distressing, and claustrophobic movie that unfolds almost entirely inside the vehicle that gives it its title, where a thief becomes trapped at the mercy of an individual with sinister intentions. Starring Peter Lanzani («Argentina, 1985»), with a soundtrack by Argentine rapper Dante Spinetta and photography by Kiko de la Rica (a regular in Álex de la Iglesia’s films), this motion picture was selected at the Sitges, Cairo, and Havana film festivals.
A high-end 4×4 is parked on a street of a typical neighbourhood in Buenos Aires. A man breaks into it to steal whatever he can find, but when he tries to get out, the doors and windows lock the 4×4 just like an armoured bunker. The situation is distressing: he is trapped. Someone on the outside is in control of the vehicle, and they seem to have a plan.
