YESTERDAY NEVER ENDS

Intimist drama from a female, award-winning, European director who, through the meeting of two characters played fantastically well by Javier Cámara and Candela Peña, approaches personal issues including maternity, grief, the weight of our past and a feeling of guilt, as well as social issues like public healthcare cutbacks and the decline of our national institutions.

In the year 2017, in a Spain plunged by the crisis, a couple is reunited in Barcelona after five years without seeing each other. They had separated after losing their son to hospital negligence as a result of cutbacks. He had emigrated to Germany, but has returned. Just when they thought they had put the past behind them, unhealed wounds begin to bleed again.
