Inspired by Roberto Rossellini’s VIAGGIO IN ITALIA, THE STORY OF US offers a sharp reflection on relationships, exploring the balance between fleeting romantic love and long-term stability. With echoes of Stanley Donen’s TWO FOR THE ROAD and Ingmar Bergman’s SCENES FROM A MARRIAGE, this film, directed by Helena Taberna, is based on Isaac Rosa’s novel FINAL FELIZ and produced by Vértigo Films, known for BLUE IS THE WARMEST COLOR.

After ten years together, Ángela and Antonio are on the brink of separating. Through a series of non-linear flashbacks, the story unravels how their once idyllic love story transformed over time. It explores how the small, often overlooked details in everyday life can slowly change the course of a relationship.
