An amusing, insolent, original, and corrosive mockumentary, it reconstructs the political earthquake that Spain experienced in the 2010s, from the perspective of the son of a fallen conservative minister embroiled in disgrace due to corruption, embezzlement of funds, and money laundering, who seeks refuge in Podemos – an emerging radical left-wing and anti-system political party that arose in the aftermath of the economic crisis. This film was directed by Víctor García León (son of José Luis García Sánchez, winner of the Golden Bear in Berlin for «Las truchas») and participated in the Malaga Film Festival, where it was awarded the Silver Biznaga prize.
When his father (an important Spanish Minister) is arrested accused of political corruption, Bosco’s life as he knew it is completely shattered away. Evicted from his luxury house where he enjoyed a comfortable lifestyle and being left by his snobbish girlfriend, adapting to a down to earth existence doesn’t prove easy for him. Self-Taping his delirious fall and rise in a working-class neighbourhood, living in a shared flat that he can’t even pay but with the love of his new girlfriend (a blind social worker) and discovering that eating a Kebab can be a pleasure… Bosco has the chance of a lifetime to learn a lesson.
