The second cinematic adventure of civil guards Bevilacqua and Chamorro, protagonists of the noir literary series by Lorenzo Silva, one of the most successful in Spain and translated into fourteen languages. Here, they investigate a murder on the Canary Island of La Gomera, in which all the prominent local figures are implicated. This thriller combines the classic whodunit with a precise portrayal of the characters and an unabashed denunciation of corruption in the highest circles. It stars one of the most internationally recognized Spanish actors, Quim Gutiérrez, alongside two actresses frequently nominated for the Goya, Verónica Echegui and Aura Garrido. The movie marked the directorial debut of the prestigious screenwriter Andrés Koppel (“Intacto,” “Way Down”) and was selected for the Malaga Film Festival.

A Sergeant of the Civil Guard and his subordinate are tasked to reopen the inquiry on the death of a young man in a Canary Island. The last person who saw him alive, a corporal of the Civil Guard, will help them to clarify the case. A well-known politician is the main suspect. This investigation is hidden behind the mist of an island that covers terrible secrets of its inhabitants.
